The Australia Papua New Guinea Business Council is an independent association of businesses based in Australia and Papua New Guinea with an interest in the bilateral business relationship.  Its members including major mining, banking, agricultural and service investors in Papua New Guinea, as well as smaller companies including traders. The 29th Annual General Meeting of the Australia Papua New Guinea Business Council was held at 7.30 a.m. on Tuesday 18 May 2010 at Jupiters Hotel and Casino, Townsville.  Mr Ian Clarke, National Chairman, Gadens Lawyers, was re-elected as President for a further term.  A list of the Council's executive committee following the election held at the AGM can be viewed here.
